Students often feel overwhelmed by homework, essays, deadlines, grades, and expectations. This SEL workshop helps students understand what stress is, recognize common stress responses, and discuss healthy coping strategies in a structured, classroom-friendly format.
Use this resource as a high school or college advisory lesson, a nonfiction reading activity, health education discussion, counseling group handout, or classroom reset during high-stress times of the school year. Students read accessible nonfiction texts, examine primary and secondary coping strategies, respond to real-life scenarios, and participate in guided discussion questions that encourage reflection, problem-solving, and responsible decision-making.
